Sorry , got carried away after the Fisichella part---and just had to keep those F's rolling along.
Even though there was a news item here, I read one on another site that gave a few more interesting comments made by the Flav.
"I like very much the idea of Giancarlo winning the championship, he deserves it. For me he is completely on par with Fernando."
I also noticed his claim that was remarkably similar (maybe word for word) to a quote from one; Eugenio Dragoni, Team Manager of Ferrari circa 1966---
"We can win with any driver." Back in Eugenio's day, he was refering to 'Big John' Surtees with whom he was engaged in a ferocious battle of wills regarding politics within the team and with Enzo himself. He and Surtees detested each other and manoevered for Il Commendatore's attention and favour. As it played out, John left the team after winning at Spa partway into the season, and cost Ferrari what was an almost certain championship for them both. More importantly, and pointedly, was the fact borne out that indeed not anyone could win with Ferrari. It took that someone special to extract certainty!
Flavio goes on "We've demonstrated that Renault can count on two fine drivers (Fisichella & Kovalainen?) and we aren't Fernando-dependant at all."
Fernando- "OUCH!!"
here's the article
Do you think Fisi can/will win the championship for them? Is Flavio setting Nando up for a fall if Fisi's form continues?
~Delivers a broken and humbled Alonso to Ron's doorstep at season's end~ "Here ya go Ronster,--I've prepared him to fit right into Kimi's vessel-of-broken-dreams"! |

Fisi can...he just needs Kimi's bad luck to be contagious and Alonso, Schumi and maybe Button and Montoya to get infected.
...and it would keep on being a hard task for Fisi.

Think? A great advise
A circumstancial victory hardly can be named as "form".
Kimi's out at first lap, Alonso qualifying seventh because of its fuelgate, Schumi dropping 10 positions, Rosberg breaking its engine...
Form... for sure you are joking! And what a great joke

I think Fisi can win the cship for Renault if the car is way better than the others.(Which is the case right now.) But if the advantage is only marginal, they would need Alonso. Fisi is not in the same class. And he is a big whinger......crying about Ferrari not hiring Italians... _________________ David Cameron! |

Yeah, that pole position and that cruise from the off couldn't be construed as form either could it? Nor could that lucky win in Oz last year, right?
If Alonso was so great, he'd have made it past him right? I mean Nando practically flew past everyone to pick up third spot from the first corner didn't he? Why couldn't he catch Fisi by the end of the race? Because of Button? Or would you imply that Button was superior to Alonso? |

Not with you there, eremos. Fisi was absolutely faultless all weekend and put the fast laps in exactly where they were needed. Granted, the loss of Kimi made life a little easier, but I't would have been a hard fight. _________________ The pants that lack are those of Jean Todt |

Alonso? I thought Fisi was this film's starring...Fisi and its supposed form
We will be able to speak about "form" in two or three races more, and it's valid for every drivers.
Anyway, i think it's absurd arguing about Fisi vs Alonso in the way comparing cured ham with bologna is.
Will you finally assume Alonso's first-class when he wins this championship?...Let me guess... the answer es no, isn't it? _________________ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LntdNlA37jo |

Yes, of course Fisi was perfect all weekend but it's not a reason for start talking about its form. And about winning the CS? It's a bit too over.
Let's make a bet...i bet on Fisi not finishing at podio...that's the less it could be done by a man being in good form and driving the currently best car _________________ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LntdNlA37jo |

You obviously don't know me well enough to assume what you just did! I rated him last year, and if you had paid any attention to those posts (go back and look), you wouldn't have made such an asinine guess.
