Stars of Tomorrow 2012

2. Alex Lynn

Where is he from?

Alex Lynn was born in Essex in the United Kingdom on17 September 1993.

Career History

2009: Formula Renault 2.0 UK Winter Cup, 10th
2010: Formula Renault 2.0 UK, 10th
2010: Formula Renault 2.0 UK Winter Cup, three wins, CHAMPION
2011: Toyota Racing Series New Zealand, one win, 9th
2011: Formula Renault 2.0 UK, record breaking eleven wins, CHAMPION
2011: Formula Renault 2.0 Euro Cup, four races, 14th

His current career statistics are: 66 starts. 16 wins, 16 pole positions, 12 fastest laps.

My Prediction for the Future

On 28 November he tested in World Series by Renault for the Fortec team and recorded the sixteenth fastest time.

In 2012 he is stepping up to the British Formula Three championship with the Fortec team that he has raced for his whole career.

Alex won eleven wins on his way to the Formula Renault TK title this year, breaking the record set in 1994 by James Matthews.
In British Formula Three next year I expect him to continue winning, he will not be champion but a few race wins and podiums will set him up nicely for a fight for the title in 2013, then if he remains with Fortec again he could find himself in their World Series by Renault team.

2011: Masters of Formula Three, Pole Position, Did Not Finish

His current career statistics are: 166 starts. 22 wins, 20 pole positions, 22 fastest laps.

My Prediction for the Future

I see a very clear path for Roberto to get to Formula One. He is a Spanish driver, Hispania Racing Team are a Spanish team. Simple.
Pedro De La Rosa has been signed by Hispania for two seasons, just long enough for Roberto to have a trial year in either World Series by Renault or GP2, he will then win the title in his second year and get the Hispania seat for 2014 when Pedro retires. Simple.
