(GMM) Another independent F1 team might be bought out, according to FIA president Max Mosley.
He told a throng of media at a luncheon in London (UK) that 'negotiations are going on' between a team and a company with 'significant resources.'
Following the sale of Jaguar to Red Bull, and Jordan to Midland, only Sauber and Minardi make up F1's existing privateer contingent.
Mosley also broached the possibility of more carmakers, like GM or Volkswagen, joining the F1 party. He said that might depend on Toyota.
''If Toyota start to succeed in the next year or two,'' he said, ''I think that might encourage (them).''
Max said F1, despite a 'crisis' late last year, is now financially 'healthier' - thanks to the Jordan and Jaguar sale - than ever before.
