(GMM) According to analysis of winter test mileage, Ferrari will enter the 2005 F1 championship at a distinct disadvantage.
Michelin-clad rivals have covered more than seven times more pre-season running than Ferrari tyre supplier Bridgestone, the figures reveal.
The French company, Michelin, offer rubber to seven of Ferrari's nine track adversaries, and every non-Ferrari top team.
'The Australian' said Michelin have covered 61,284km in the off-season, compared to Bridgestone's paltry 8592.
The newspaper also named Williams' Nick Heidfeld as the hardest worker this winter, with 4862km under the German's belt alone.
