(GMM) Jaguar's former managing director David Pitchforth could be about to return to pitlane.
Rumour has it that, following Red Bull's controversial sacking of the lauded manager, he could assume Williams' unoccupied position as 'chief operations engineer.'
The move would indubitably be backed by Williams' new driver Mark Webber, who worked with the considerable Yorkshireman at Jaguar Racing.
''(Pitchforth) was one of (Jaguar's) greatest assets,'' Mark, 28, said.
''If he wants to stay involved in F1, he'd be welcomed ... at most teams.''
