Schu 'not right in the head'
Brother, team-mate, slam F1 champ

Michael Schumacher made few friends after an aggressive end to his Monaco Grand Prix drive.

The German was slammed by both his Ferrari team-mate Rubens Barrichello and younger brother Ralf Schumacher.

The pair’s anger came after a grandstand last lap of the race where Schumacher first passed Barrichello into the harbour-side chicane for seventh position and then muscled his way alongside Ralf on the finishing straight to finish less than a tenth behind.

Barrichello was so incensed by the seven times champion that he took his case to the Ferrari team principal, Jean Todt.

"He overtook me in a place where he shouldn't have," he later told Reuters.

"He took a gamble for an extra point. But, if I hadn't moved out of the way, we would have crashed and lost the points we earned today.

"I don't want to destabilise the team, but I have spoken to Michael and Jean Todt. A few years ago I wouldn't have said anything, and I don't suppose this will now change anything."

Ralf stopped short of taking his complaints to a higher authority but the Toyota driver didn't mix his words when outlining his feelings over his brother's actions.

"Michael's crazy," Ralf said after the incident. "He should have switched on his brain before he tried that move.

"One more millimetre and one of us could have been dead. Sometimes Michael is just not right in the head."

For his part Michael was unconcerned by the criticism. He fended off the comments saying he was a 'full-blooded racer' and that’s what he was in Monaco to do.

It isn't the first time Schumacher has been under-fire this season. His rival drivers forced him to apologise after coming together with Williams' Nick Heidfeld in the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

Schumacher sits in ninth place in the Drivers’ Championship after taking his point tally to 12 in Monaco.
