Rapid change to Safety Car rules?
Ron Dennis fronts new initiative

(GMM) A rapid change to the safety car regulations may be agreed at Indy.

McLaren's Ron Dennis fronted the initiative that, following a pace car period, three laps should be run in a 'yellow flag' (no passing) situation.

After the Michelin tyre debacle in the United States, rumoured to have been sparked by teams running too-low tyre pressure, the team boss said: ''We hope all the teams will agree.

''We have asked (them) to consider amending (the rule).''
