
(GMM) A rapid change to the safety car regulations may be agreed at Indy.
McLaren's Ron Dennis fronted the initiative that, following a pace car period, three laps should be run in a 'yellow flag' (no passing) situation.
After the Michelin tyre debacle in the United States, rumoured to have been sparked by teams running too-low tyre pressure, the team boss said: ''We hope all the teams will agree.
''We have asked (them) to consider amending (the rule).''
