Biagi to test Jordan
Former GT champ to get F1 drive

2003 FIA GT World Champion Thomas Biagi will make his Formula One debut at Jerez in December.

That was the announcement from the Midland Group on Friday after the team agreed to give the Italian a run in the Jordan EJ15.

Biagi hopes that the drive will further progress his career and potentially lead to a full-time Formula One test drive.

He further noted that he had already ‘begun preparing… physically and mentally’.

Colin Kolles, managing director at Midland, said that he was glad the team could offer Biagi his test ‘so that he can show his potential’.

Midland recently signed former-Minardi driver Christijan Albers on a two-year deal.
