(GMM) The skies above Barcelona continued to whine with the plentiful sounds of F1 action as a busy test carried on throughout Thursday.
Ten teams and eighteen runners featured again at Spain's Circuit de Catalunya, with Toyota racer Jarno Trulli emerging ahead of the talented Fernando Alonso (Renault), Michael Schumacher (Ferrari) and Kimi Raikkonen (McLaren) trio.
''Finally (the car and Bridgestone tyres are) fitting my driving style. This is a huge improvement for me,'' Italy-born Trulli remarked.
BMW, Williams, Honda and Red Bull were also in action, and amazingly only Toro Rosso and Super Aguri did not have their full grand prix driver line-up doing laps in the sun.
Following the upcoming Imola race, the next big test is at Silverstone in Great Britain. This week, the only team absent from Barcelona - MF1 - is running at the circuit.
On a dreary English day, Giorgio Mondini and Christijan Albers ran nearly 60 times up and down the Tower Straight.
