May 18 (GMM) Mark Webber thinks women are unlikely to trouble him on the world's grand prix tracks any time soon.
Williams' Australian racer told the 'Guardian' newspaper that men - making up 100 per cent of the current formula one race grid - simply take more risks at high speeds.
Asked if he expected the 100 per cent statistic to be troubled, 29-year-old Webber simply replied: ''No.
''I see no reason why (it) would change. If you see people driving like maniacs on the road they're almost always men.
''In a sense women are too logical for this business.''
America's Danica Patrick, to again contest the Indy 500 in 2006, is presently the closest thing to a girl-racer linked with F1.
But she recently admitted that, despite Europe's possible interest, she is 'very happy' to stay in the IRL.
Patrick added: ''I think being away from all my friends and family isn't ideal for me.''
