Ralf Schumacher has been given a drive through Penalty for Speeding in the pit lane to continue his unlucky weekend following his Qualifying and opening lap shunts as has Monteiro for ignoring the blue flags.
Jacques Villeneuve had a big off exiting the final corner with what looked like a front suspension failure. The most interesting battle on the track for the remainder of the race is going to be between the Honda of Jenson Button and Mark Webber’s Williams for P3 and P4.
Mean while the Ferraris of Schumacher and Massa look as though they are on course to not only come home 1-2.
The Renaults are looking very much off the boil here today and it can be no coincidence that it is on the back of the ban on dampers.
