
Feb.10 (GMM) Swarms of British formula one fans will be licking their lips at news of an upcoming auction of personalised number plates.
It has emerged that the UK's Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency later this month plans to put combinations including 'F1 FAN', 'F1 MAD', F1 GPX' and 'F1 SHU' under the hammer.
'F1 SHU' - a reference to the sport's now retired seven time world champion - has a reserve price of £1200 (US $2345).
The auction will take place February 21-23, according to newspaper reports.
