Feb.19 (GMM) Juan Pablo Montoya says he has no plans to attempt a return to formula one in the future.
The winner of seven grands prix left the pinnacle of motor sport during a disappointing tenure at McLaren last year, and at the weekend finished outside of the top ten despite massive media interest in his Daytona 500 debut.
But Colombian Montoya, 31, told the Sunday Mirror: "I don't miss F1 and I have no regrets about leaving. I had options to stay (in 2007).
"F1 is not unfinished business for me and it's not in my mind to return there."
Montoya said he will also not miss seven time world champion Michael Schumacher, who has retired.
He told USA Today last week: "Everyone knew I never liked Michael."
