F1 driver Heinz Schiller, 77, dies
One time runner

Mar.27 (GMM) Former formula one driver Heinz Schiller has died at the age of 77.

The Swiss officially contested just one world championship race -- in 1962 at the Nurburgring, when he failed to finish the German grand prix.

Official records show that Schiller's privately entered Lotus-BRM broke down with an oil pressure problem after just 3 laps of the famous 23km Nordschleife layout.
