Apr.4 (GMM) Bridgestone has no plans to use any additional methods for visibly distinguishing its softer tyres during the 2007 season.
The Japanese supplier abandoned its 3cm white dot solution after the Australian grand prix after the markings proved almost impossible to identify either trackside or on TV.
Bridgestone will paint white a groove on every option tyre in Malaysia this weekend, and a spokeswoman for the company explained that the new solution will hopefully be used at every other race this year after it was successfully tested at Sepang.
"We hope that we can now stick with this idea," she was quoted as saying by the Speed TV website.
"As long as everyone agrees it is a good solution, then we should be able to use this as our system for the rest of the season."
