Jul.22 (GMM) Lewis Hamilton may start the European grand prix today following a medical examination at the Nurburgring by the FIA's Gary Hartstein at 9.30am local time, McLaren confirmed in a statement.
The Mclaren driver, current points leader in the World Championship, suffered a high speed front wheel failure during qualifying yesterday and speared into a tyre barrier.
Hamilton will start tenth on the grid for this afternoon's race.
