Aug.4 (GMM) Another Sebastien has joined the running for the second race seat at Toro Rosso next year.
With Sebastian Vettel already signed up for the 2008 season, multiple champ car title winner Sebastien Bourdais is hoping to also drive for the Italian team next year.
But according to a rumour at the Hungaroring on Saturday, also a possible teammate for Vettel is Sebastien Buemi, an 18-year-old Swiss who recently tested for STR's parent team Red Bull.
Toro Rosso co-owner Gerhard Berger played down the rumour but interestingly did not rule out a scenario where Vitantonio Liuzzi, like Scott Speed, could be ousted before the end of 2007.
"If nothing unexpected happens," he told the news agency APA, "then we will finish this season with Liuzzi."
Berger was also quoted as expressing disappointment with his team's form in 2007.
"With a car made by Adrian Newey we expected something better," said the Austrian.
"To be honest, we expected to be at Williams' level by now -- but we are far away from that."
