Sep.3 (GMM) The sale of the Spyker team to a Dutch-Indian consortium will not affect Adrian Sutil's contract to race for the Silverstone based outfit in 2008, according to his manager.
The 24-year-old German has been a standout of this season, but the team's new fifty per cent co-owner Vijay Mallya has been declaring his interest this week in premier Indian drivers Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok.
Sutil's manager Manfred Zimmermann told the news agency Sport-Informations-Dienst: "We have a valid contract also for 2008."
Sutil's current Spyker teammate is the Japanese Sakon Yamamoto, who was drafted in recently after a sponsor for predecessor Christijan Albers did not pay up.
