Jan.14 (GMM) BMW-Sauber is poised to sign two young test drivers for the 2008 season.
It was reported last week that Marko Asmer, the 23-year-old Estonian, has been called back to test again for the Swiss based team following his recent winter outing.
But the Spanish newspaper Diario AS claims that Javier Villa, a race winner in the GP2 series last year, will also be signed alongside Asmer as they both replace former BMW-Sauber tester Timo Glock in 2008.
The news could be confirmed officially at the launch of the team's new car for 2008, the F1.08, in Munich on Monday.
However, other sources insist that both Asmer and Villa will be tested again by BMW in the near future, to determine which of them will be designated the reserve driver at grands prix.
