Jan.18 (GMM) Aguri Suzuki has now completed the partial sale of his formula one team, according to reports on Friday.
It emerged last year that Honda powered Super Aguri, based in Leafield (UK), was in talks with Alejandro Agag, a Spaniard and part owner of the Campos Grand Prix GP2 team.
It is believed that Agag and possibly also Adrian Campos were keen on purchasing a minority shareholding, which would leave Suzuki, like Campos a former grand prix driver, in charge.
Super Aguri ran into money trouble in 2007 when major sponsor SS United defaulted on due payments.
The German publication Auto Bild Motorsport now claims that Agag, a 37-year-old millionaire, has bought 50 per cent of the Japanese team.
