We understand that the first day of testing at Valencia has been curtailed after a short time this morning thanks to heavy fog that currently shrouds the circuit.
Williams test driver Nico Hulkenberg managed one installation lap in the new Williams FW30 before officials declared the circuit out of bounds on safety grounds.
Renault had been expected to roll out the R28 with Fernando Alonso at the wheel but have had to remain in the garage for the time being.
Forecasts predict an improvement later on today, when the teams will hope they can continue to test.
