Jan.26 (GMM) The formula one team Force India confirmed that its 2008 car will be launched officially on February 7.
The event will take place in Mumbai, but the single seater will only make its track debut at Spain's Circuit de Catalunya, in Barcelona, on February 25 -- less than a month before the first race of the season in Australia.
It is believed that the team's 2008 car, the first to be raced under the Force India banner following Vijay Mallya's buyout of the Spyker team, will be a slight development of the car used by the Silverstone based squad in 2007.
Force India's definitive livery, and the sponsorship package, will also be unveiled in Mumbai.
