Feb.4 (GMM) Renault on Monday announced that Sakon Yamamoto, the 25-year-old Japanese who has raced for Super Aguri and Spyker, has been signed as a test driver for the 2008 season.
He will conduct development work and play a role in the French team's 'Roadshow' programme of demonstration events, Renault outlined in a statement.
