
Felipe Massa put his Ferrari in prime position for the Malaysia Grand Prix as he dominated the first practice session at Sepang. Team mate Kimi Raikkonen had similar problems to Melbourne, while David Coulthard had suspension break in his Red Bull at high speed. Robert Kubica had early problems in his BMW that limited his track time and Mark Webber in the second Red Bull had a big engine failure on the back straight.
