Apr.8 (GMM) Another domino has fallen for Max Mosley, in the form of the Austrian motor racing federation, the OAMTC (Osterreichische Automobil, Motorrad und Touring Club).
As the fallout from the sex scandal continues, the member club has called into question 67-year-old Mosley's ability to continue as FIA president.
"I fear that it will now be difficult for Mosley to exercise his duties," OAMTC secretary general Hans Peter Halouska is quoted as saying by the Vorarlberger Nachrichten newspaper.
One ray of hope for Mosley, however, emerged in the form of Force India team co-owner Vijay Mallya, who admits that the details of the affair "shocked him".
The Indian billionaire, though, rejected suggestions that the scandal could lead to an exodus of F1's financial backers.
Referring to his team's existing sponsors, Mallya said: "They don't care or know who Mosley is."
