Final practice at Montreal saw Nico Rosberg and Williams throw down the gauntlet to the front runners when he topped the hour long session with a time a second slower than the best we saw yesterday.
Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton followed the young German home in a session that lost a few minutes to red flag – Seb Vettel shedding parts of STR across the track when he hit a wall – and then lost the last few to a yellow hen the other STR of Seb Bourdais spun and blocked the track
Fourth went to Felipe Massa in the second Ferrari, with Kazuki Nakajima in the Williams and Jarno Trulli for Toyota next, and the final top ten places went to Heikki Kovalainen in the McLaren, Nelson Piquet in the Renault, Mark Webber and Vettel.
Qualifying takes place later this afternoon – follow the session with UpdateF1.
