GP2 Testing: Paul Ricard 10 June
The times from today

The first of two days testing for the GP2 Championship, ahead of their supporting of the French Grand Prix on June 22, was held at the French circuit of Paul Ricard.

Formula One test drivers, Lucas di Grassi of Renault and Marko Asmer of BMWmade thier first appearences in a GP2 car this year for Campos and FMS respectively.

But it was another Formula One test driver that topped the day; Asmers team-mate at BMW Javier Villa, today driving for Racing Engineering set the fastest time of the day late in the afternoon session.
