Day two of the Barcelona test saw Luca Badoer and Ferrari top the times again, his time of 1:21.013 quicker than the best from Thursday, and three tenths ahead of second placed man Pedro de la Rosa in the McLaren.
Third fastest was Timo Glock, the German in the Toyota a fraction slower than de la Rosa, and next came fellow German Nico Rosberg with the Williams FW30.
David Coulthard – Red Bull – and Robert Kubica in the BMW were next in line, with the final runners being Rubens Barrichello for Honda, Nelson Piquet in the Renault and Sebastien Bourdais with the Toro Rosso.
The final day sees Badoer and de la Rosa again running for Ferrari and McLaren, while Nick Heidfeld takes over at BMW in order to work on his qualifying concerns.
Nelson Piquet will again drive the Renault, Mark Webber takes over at Red Bull and Jarno Trulli will share the day with Timo Glock at Toyota.
While Barrichello continues in the Honda for a second day, Nico Hulkenberg returns for Williams, having run on the first day, and Sebastian Vettel will drive for STR.
