With half an hour to go before the start of the British Grand prix at Silverstone, rain continues to fall on what has been a wet and windy morning.
The weather may well be welcome to some runners – notably Mark Webber, on the front row in the Red Bull alongside pole sitter Heikki Kovalainen, and promises to inject a degree of uncertainty into the outcome of the race.
The weather forecast is for heavy showers, similar conditions to those during the GP2 sprint race that was run this morning, and the temperature is cool with a string wind present, too.
UpdateF1 will carry full live commentary of the race, beginning very shortly.
