A washed out final practice session provided no clues to how qualifying may go, as Timo Glock took top spot for Toyota with an early lap in a session that became gradually more wet.
Behind Glock – by over half a second – came Sebastian Vettel in the STR, with Nico Rosberg, Jarno Trulli and Kazuki Nakajima making two Toyotas and two Williams’ in the top five.
Very few drivers ventured out in the last half of the session, and the front-runners merely felt their way around in a completely inconclusive hour.
