Sep.27 (GMM) Stewards interviewed both Nick Heidfeld and Rubens Barrichello after an incident in Singapore qualifying.
Honda's Barrichello was annoyed as he abandoned a flying lap in Q1, because the slowing BMW-Sauber driven by Nick Heidfeld was negotiating the circuit's controversial pit entry.
Brazilian Barrichello, however, cut the pit entry line as he abandoned his interrupted lap, which costs him a 10,000 euros sanction.
Heidfeld, 31, was also penalised for impeding Barrichello, and must move three places down the starting grid to ninth.
"On my second run I was stuck behind Heidfeld, which compromised my lap," 36-year-old Barrichello said.
