Oct.14 (GMM) Next year's season finale could be staged under floodlights, F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone has admitted.
It was rumoured recently that, following the success of the inaugural night grand prix in Singapore, Ecclestone's next target for the spectacle is Abu Dhabi, a new event to be staged in the Arab emirate late next year.
Race organisers Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management would not comment on the speculation.
But Ecclestone told the local newspaper Khaleej Times: "At the moment, we do not have an agreement to run formula one at night in Abu Dhabi but we are discussing the possibility."
