Nov.1 (GMM) There is a chance Credit Suisse will remain at BMW-Sauber next year as a major backer, team founder and consultant Peter Sauber has revealed.
Earlier this year, it seemed certain that the Hinwil based squad would farewell its long term sponsor and minority shareholder at the end of 2008.
Credit Suisse, a Swiss bank, entered F1 with Sauber's then independent team eight years ago.
"Discussions about the continuation of the partnership are taking place," Peter Sauber told punkt.ch. "I assume that by the end of the year we may have an answer."
