A1GP season to end in Brazil
New race at Interlagos

A1GP has added a round at Interlagos to its 2008/09 calendar as this season's finale.

The last race was scheduled to be at Brands Hatch on May 3, but the event in Brazil will take place two weeks later to bring the fourth A1GP championship to a close.

The British circuit had hosted the finale for the last two seasons after holding the opening race of the inaugural season in 2005.

This year's March 29th date, for which a venue was yet to be confirmed, has been removed from the schedule to make way for the races in Brazil.

The event, to be held at the same venue as Formula One's finale, will be A1GP's first in South America.
