The incident in which Sebastian Vettel – on an in-lap in the Red Bull – visibly blocked Heikki Kovalainen’s McLaren which was on a hot lap has raised questions across the many F1 bulletin boards and forums.
At the time of writing there has been no indication of a steward’s investigation, yet at this race last year Nick Heidfeld was deemed to have blocked Lewis Hamilton, in the same manner at exactly the same spot, and picked up a grid penalty for the transgression.
