Brawn GP driver Jenson Button has won the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.
He was jumped off the line by team-mate Rubens Barrichello but regained the lead as the Brazilian was on a three-stop strategy to Button's two.
Mark Webber completed the podium after he leapfrogged Felipe Massa and Sebastien Vettel in the second round of stops.
Vettel went on to finish fourth, but Massa was only sixth after running low on fuel in the closing stages eventually leading to him losing fifth place to Alonso on the last lap.
The rest of the points went to Nick Heidfeld in seventh and Nico Rosberg eighth. World Champion Lewis Hamilton could only manage ninth while former champion Kimi Riakkonen retired early on.
A full report will follow later.
