Post-race press conference

Sebastian Vettel, winner:

"An easy race? It's never easy, especially such a long race at this fantastic circuit with fast corners. Everyone's enjoying it a lot."

"The start was very important and in the first stint I tried to push to pull a gap. I knew it would be crucial because I would benefit the whole race from it. I had a fantastic car and I kept on pushing, the tyres where perfect. The traffic during the second stint was difficult, so I had to stay patient. I kept on asking how big the gap was. The last stint, I was counting down the laps."

"I'm very pleased with the result, it's fantastic. It shows we are on the right way. Everyone here at the track and in the factory has been working so hard. It's only my second time at Silverstone, but I enjoyed it so much. Everyone was standing up and cheering and the atmosphere was great. It's a bit unreal to think I have now won this grand prix."

Mark Webber, 2nd:

"We lost our chance of a win yesterday in qualifying, we needed to get on the front row."

"On the first stint, Sebastian was pulling away and Rubens did all he could. There was no chance to close the gap. In the last stint, it was just a question of getting the car home. Credit to the guys in the factory, this is the ultimate result for them and congratulations to Sebastian."

"We love racing here at Silverstone, especially going through the first sector lap after lap. it's a great place for a Formula 1 car. British fans are always fantastic."

Rubens Barrichello, 3rd:

"I'm proud with my performance today, because it was very difficult. A third place was the best we could have and it was always going to be very difficult to beat them. The second stint was very difficult on the harder tyres, especially with the wind."

"I did what I had to do, but Red Bull were very fast. My target is to close the gap on Jenson and that's what we did. I want to thank the doctors from Toro Rosso, because they helped me a lot with the back pains I had this weekend. Thanks to them, I now have a good feeling after the race."
