Mercedes Benz will announce later today that Michael Schumacher is returning to Formula One to race for them in 2010.
Following weeks of speculation the team has scheduled a press conference for later today (Wednesday) at which it will be confirmed that the 40 year old seven times world champion will leave the Ferrari fold and join the company for whom he raced in his younger days.
It has been reported that Schumacher has already signed contracts but the details are not yet known. With Nico Rosberg already signed the return of Mercedes to F1 will come with an all-German line up.
