Jan.12 (GMM) Rubens Barrichello is the next formula one driver to announce his plans to test on the opening day of the 2010 pre-season.
Brazil's Globo on Monday published a photo of the Brazilian veteran, who finished last season in third place before leaving Brawn GP, wearing the overalls of his new team and posing alongside the 2009-spec Williams single seater.
"I will go on the track on the morning of the 1st of February and will leave only at night," the enthusiastic 37-year-old is quoted as saying.
Globo said Barrichello will be powered at Valencia by a Cosworth engine, presumably fitted to Williams' 2010 car.
