Jan.30 (GMM) Adam Carroll's manager has expressed surprise at reports the reigning A1GP champion is high on the list be Bruno Senna's teammate at Campos in 2010.
Reports this week said the 27-year-old Irish driver is part of A1 boss Tony Teixeira's plan to buy into the financially struggling new Spanish F1 team.
The Belfast Telegraph added that Carroll may have now flown to Spain to discuss the deal, which could be completed imminently.
Carroll's manager Neil Lynas said: "I'm shocked and surprised by this. It's news to us. We've had no direct contact with the team."
