An interesting news story appeared on Autosport.com yesterday claiming that Geoff McGrath, Managing Director of McLaren Applied Technologies, had said the new MP4-27 included technical innovations that the team expected to attract controversy.
What is more interesting is that the story disappeared very quickly. Autosport has not offered an explanation as to why, and comments on the associated forum about the mystery have been removed.
The MP4-27 is due to be unveiled today – the 1st of February – at the McLaren Technology Centre. We are currently experiencing problems with our photograph library but will bring you a report as soon as we have further information.
