Lotus driver Romain Grosjean has been given a one race ban for causing the crash at the first corner of the Belgian Grand Prix.
The Frenchman moved across into Lewis Hamiltons McLaren triggering the accident that also eliminated Fernando Alonso and Sergio Perez from the race.
The ban means he misses the Italian Grand Prix next week.
Lotus have former Virgin racer Jerome DAmbrosio as their reserve driver, and he is expected to take the seat, however Eric Boullier says that they are other contenders.
