
Ferrari reserve driver Julies Bianchi topped the opening day of the young driver test a Magny Cours today.
His time of 1m18.070s was almost half a second faster than GP2 championship contender Luiz Razia driving for Force India.
World Series by Renault racer Sam Bird was third for Mercedes as the only other driver to compete today.
Tomorrow Bianchi moves to Force India, where he has been undertaking reserve driver duties this season, Davide Rigon will drive for Ferrari with Sam Bird remaining at Mercedes
